A private travel advisory firm designs, books, and manages travel on your behalf. Unlike online booking platforms, we work with you directly to understand your priorities, recommend the right options, handle all supplier coordination, and stay involved throughout your trip. Awen works best with travelers who value their time, appreciate clear recommendations, and prefer to have someone experienced manage the details. Our clients tend to be professionals, entrepreneurs, and families planning international travel, multi destination itineraries, or trips where getting the details right matters.

Three things. First, we bring experience and relationships that improve the quality of your options, including preferred hotel programs with benefits such as breakfast, upgrade priority, and property credits, subject to availability.
Second, we handle coordination across flights, hotels, transfers, guides, and dining so nothing falls through.
Third, we stay with the trip through travel, monitoring for disruptions, and anticipating and managing changes so you do not have to.

Yes. For trips involving meaningful planning, such as international travel, multi destination itineraries, or group travel, we charge a planning fee that reflects the scope and complexity of the work. We discuss fees transparently during our introductory call, before any work begins. Simpler engagements, such as a straightforward hotel booking, may not require a planning fee.
-
Awen Air is our air management service. In addition to itinerary design and air booking, it provides proactive monitoring of your flights for schedule changes, aircraft swaps, cancellations, and delays. When something changes, we work on rebooking and coordination before it becomes your problem. It also offers consulting for frequent travelers.
Awen Air includes defined coverage terms and response protocols, and it coordinates with your hotel and ground arrangements when arrival timing shifts.
-
Through our preferred hotel partnerships, many stays include benefits such as daily breakfast, a property credit, upgrade priority, early arrival or late departure when available, and a welcome amenity. These benefits are subject to availability and vary by property and program. We are transparent about what each hotel offers before you book.

For international travel and peak season trips, three to six months is ideal. Some destinations and experiences require even more lead time, particularly during high demand periods such as cherry blossom season in Japan or summer in Southern Europe. For simpler trips, a few weeks may be sufficient. We will tell you honestly what timeline your trip requires.
-
We begin with a brief introductory call to understand your goals, timing, and travel style. From there, we provide a clear scope and planning framework. Once aligned, we design and present a recommended itinerary with options and trade-offs, handle all bookings and supplier coordination, and deliver a final travel pack with confirmations, contacts, and timing details. We stay involved through your trip and follow up afterward.
-
Yes. Family travel requires specific attention to pacing, space, and activities that work across ages. We select properties suited to families, arrange private guides who engage children and adults, and build itineraries that balance structure with flexibility. When Disney or theme parks are part of the plan, we apply the same level of planning discipline to those days.
-
